Red Belt Grading July 2019
Red Belt Gradings: Milo and Ahmed 23/07/2018
Today Milo and Ahmed took their first grading with us. The first of many on a long and arduous path which is the Martial Arts path.
Temperatures rose to 33 Degrees today, (the hottest day of the year so far) but these 2 kept their cool and their nerve to deliver an excellent performance.
We commend Milo for his fantastic effort and tenacity. He showed a good amount of spirit and his guard and stance were always held firm. At the age of 69, he is unstoppable and an inspiration to us all.
Ahmed worked hard and his stamina was good. He knew his techniques and performed them to the best of his ability. Both showed awareness and control and a certain amount of grit to get through this scorcher of a day. Well done you two! – We look forward to initiating you on your next belt.
Well done also to all the Ukes who took part. Supporting your fellow jujitsukas is always something this club strongly encourages, and the guys and gals did not let us down!
