Green Belt Grading Sept 2019
One of the most challenging transitions in the syllabus is the transition from Beginner to Intermediate.
It’s the time when the average is no longer good enough. It’s the time when some hard work and self-discipline and dedication really come into their own. This is the time many students fall by the wayside as they lose their momentum and focus.
Only those who persevere, succeed, and despite having faced many personal challenges of his own, which delayed his progress, Vince never gave up, – which is why we are so pleased to award him his long-awaited Green Belt today. The nerves were extremely high but Vince managed to steel himself for the lengthy grading. Remembering his techniques and performing them to the best of his ability, swiftly but with control.
His knowledge of First Aid was also 100% improved since he was last tested – showing he’d taken great care to learn this extra piece of knowledge – which in our club, is a requirement at Green Belt level. He worked hard, he persevered, and he came up trumps!
Well done Vince! Onwards and upwards!
We thank our Ukes who all took part at their own levels and our photographer for their amazing work and donation of personal time.
Cheers, all around!
