Our martial arts training is suitable for all ages (18+) and sizes and is fun and easy to learn.

Our experienced female instructor, 1st Dan Black Belt Sensei Carla Joaquim, will guide you through some practical and easy-to-learn techniques that women can use on the street if attacked. Ju-Jitsu training is well known for its ideology of allowing a smaller person to subdue and deter a larger and stronger attacker. Due to this fact, it is a fantastic martial art for women to excel in. We offer a very friendly and supportive environment for ladies to learn ju-jitsu.

Ju-Jitsu is great for women looking to become fitter and to gain confidence and the ability to defend themselves against an attacker.

From day one, you will be learning how to use a bigger opponent’s weight and size against them, and even if this knowledge and training simply allow you to get back to your feet and escape, having these skills may one day make a huge difference for yourself or loved ones.

Ju-Jitsu classes are fun and physically demanding. They will translate into real skills and real confidence all the while burning away hundreds of calories

We are conveniently located in Southgate, close to the tube station, making us very accessible to anyone in  North London. Our martial arts training encompasses techniques which are also used in the world of Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Krav Maga and many other styles. We also offer One to One tuition Self Defence classes for Women.
