Club Visit – Sensei Robert Robotham 2nd Dan
Sensei Rob Robotham visits Seishin on 29th October 2018
On Monday 29.10.2018 we welcomed Sensei Robert Robotham 2nd Dan (of Barnet Ju-Jitsu) and his students to a shared training session at Seishin Ju-Jitsu.
The class was well attended by both our clubs and everyone, from absolute beginners to more experienced, had a great time learning and experiencing the different takes on Ju-Jitsu in an enjoyable and relaxed environment.
Time flew as we went through wrist escapes, knife defences, a few throws, locks and counters. While up the other end of the mat, the brown belts demonstrated their black belt techniques to Renshi John Michell, for some helpful and impartial advice for their upcoming grading.
The evening finished the best way possible with a few well-deserved drinks down at the local pub and the promise of another get-together in future! (with thanks to Gabi for taking the photos)
