In April 2022, Seishin Ju-Jitsu was proud to be represented at the prestigious International World Budo Karate Federation (WBKF) Seminar, held in Enfield, England. In attendance was Soke Joachim Peters 10th Dan
The event brought together experienced martial artists and instructors from across the United Kingdom and overseas, creating an outstanding opportunity to exchange knowledge, develop new skills and strengthen friendships within the martial arts community.

Our Chief Instructor, Renshi John Michell, 5th Dan Ju-Jitsu, was honoured to receive an invitation to teach alongside a distinguished line-up of respected National and International instructors. Sharing the mat with martial artists from a wide variety of backgrounds is always a privilege and reflects the mutual respect that exists between different martial arts organisations.
The seminar was expertly organised by Shihan Gary Maas, 8th Dan Ju-Jitsu, the WBKF England Ambassador. As expected, the event was professionally run from start to finish, with an excellent timetable, friendly atmosphere and a fantastic mix of practical workshops covering self-defence, throwing techniques, locks, striking, groundwork and traditional martial arts principles.
