The 2026 WBKF Martial Arts Seminar was a full-day training event bringing together martial artists from different disciplines, grades and backgrounds for a shared day of learning, practice and technical development.
Held on 18th April 2026 at Ark John Keats Academy School, Bell Lane, Enfield, London, the seminar offered students the chance to train with a varied group of experienced instructors, each bringing their own knowledge, style and practical approach to martial arts.
The event featured instruction from Hanshi John Michell, 6th Dan Ju-Jitsu, alongside senior martial artists including Robert Bevilagua, Adrian Valman, David Keenan, Francis Stevens and Robert Clarke. The seminar was also supported by Soke Joachim Peters, International President of the WBKF.
Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of martial arts principles, including movement, balance, timing, control, locks, escapes, throws, striking concepts and practical self-defence.
